Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are a cozy tea room with just 11 tables and seating for 22 guests, so space is limited. Reservations are required for our signature Afternoon Tea experience, which includes a beautifully presented three-tier assortment of savories, scones and sweets. They are also required for our Little Petals Tea – our children’s tea. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please include them in your reservation so we can accommodate you with care.

    For everything else on our menu such as The Cream Tea, The Petite Tea, Light Fare and Desserts, walk-ins are warmly welcomed based on availability and no reservation is needed.

  • Yes. For children over 5 years of age, we offer our Little Petals menu, which is designed especially for children and features kid-friendly drinks, bites and sweets. To ensure an enjoyable experience for all our guests, we ask that young guests remain seated, supervised and well-mannered during their visit. Thank you for helping us maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

  • Our signature Afternoon Tea includes a pot of your choice of premium tea, assorted tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones with cream and jam, and a variety of petite desserts, all served on a traditional tiered stand. We have taken a fresh and modern twist on the traditional English afternoon tea experience.

  • Cream Tea is a simpler offering that includes tea served with scones, cream, and jam. Afternoon Tea is a full experience with savory bites, scones, and sweet treats.

  • Yes, only with advance notice. We offer gluten-sensitive, vegetarian and vegan options. Please inform us of any dietary needs at least 48 hours before your reservation, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • With a reservation and advance notice, we are happy to prepare select items for gluten-free and vegan afternoon tea if requested at least 48 hours in advance. There will be an upcharge for the ingredients to prepare this.

  • Absolutely. Our tea room is available for bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, and other special occasions. It is important to know that our tea room has a maximum capacity of 24 people. We cannot accommodate more than that at one time. Visit our Private Gatherings page and fill out a request form for more information.

  • We plan to host a variety of seasonal and themed tea experiences such as Princess Tea, Mommy & Me Tea, Floral Tea Tastings, and more. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for news and updates.

  • Afternoon Tea typically lasts 90 minutes to 2 hours. We invite you to relax and enjoy the experience at a leisurely pace.

  • There’s no formal dress code at Petals & Pours, but we invite you to dress as if you're stepping into a charming afternoon tea. Whether it's a pretty dress, a chic blouse, or a floral skirt, or a beautiful hat, feel free to have fun with it and embrace the experience.

  • Yes, gift cards are available and make lovely gifts for birthdays, holidays, or just because. You can purchase them in our tea room.

  • We do not specialize in takeout. Select items such as scones, dessert, and teas can be available for takeout upon dining in . Full Afternoon Tea service as well as most of our menu is dine-in only to ensure the best experience.

  • For private events, a cake or cupcakes will be allowed. However, other outside food is not permitted. We’re happy to discuss custom touches to make your event extra special.

  • Tea is our specialty, but we do offer French Press coffee only and mocktails.

  • We are located in Central Square, Linwood, NJ, just steps from Barista’s Coffee House. Free parking is available in the parking lot.
